LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS L. Humphreys, who is engaged to ride Head Play in the American Derby next Saturday, is the leading jockey of the year, with ninety-seven winning mounts to his credit. M. Parke is a close second, with ninety-four. J. Westrope was the star of last weeks racing, with nine victories to his credit, bringing his total to eighty-one, only one less than W. D.
