SPORTSMANS PARK FIGURES Ed Median Heads Winning Owners List With ,150. . Sun Worship Leader Among Money Winding Horses at Cicero-rJockey Club Distributes 1,600. The National Jockey Club, operating Sportsmans Park, Cicero, near Chicago, distributed 1,600 among winning horsemen during its eighteen day meeting from May 1 to May 26. This was a daily average of ,533.33 for the meeting, during which 145 races were run. Ed McCuan was the leading money-winning owner. His horses won seven times, finished second and third on numerous occasions and earned ,150. C. Davisons horses tied McCuans in number of victories but were not as consistently second and wound up with a total of ,630. Sun Worship, winner of four races, was the leader among the horses with ,040. Martie Flynn, aged but still fast enough to outrun the class of horses at the popular half-mile course, earned ,900. Jockey E. Arcaro piloted twenty-three winners for a percentage of .23 to lead the riders list. Jimmy McLaren had thirteen winning mounts.
