I THORNCLIFFE TURF NOTES t: s $ Prince Peter and Finalist, two members of the H. Neville string, will be sent to Blue Bonnets to take part in the meeting at the Montreal course. It has been reported that Frank Russell will receive several additions to his string to race on the Quebec circuit. The new comers are at present in the big stable that Harry Giddings is handling. Nat Ray has opened up a public training stable at Woodbine for both jumpers and flat performers. W. Zakoor is looking after the engagements of apprentice J. Cassard. Jockey F. Munden wired that he would be at Thorn-cliffe Park Thursday to accept mounts. Pongo was ordered withdrawn from the third race by the order of the stewards and his entry will be refused until proper ownership can be established. J. Li. "Toots" Kennedy accepted his first mount in eight years when he was seen astride Survey in the opening dash. He also had the mount on Ferry of Fate in the sixth.
