PLAN RACES FOR JUMPERS GEAUGA LAKE, Ohio, May 30 If present plans materialize, Bainbridge Park will soon become the home of the "jumpers" as well as the runners. Bainbridge officials are negotiating with several of the largest riding academies and polo clubs in the Cleve-racesland with a view to staging hurdle races at regular intervals at the beautiful Geauga County course. The distance will be a mile and a quarter, over the regular track, with four two-foot brush hurdles and a field of not more than eight starters. Many riding academies have evinced a decided interest in the event and the cream of Clevelands riding crop are grooming their choicest mounts. There will be no wagering on the outcome, and suitable trophies will be awarded the winners. Amateur riders are asked to enter their best and fastest jumpers, and all those interested are requested to communicate with Richard A. Leigh, racing secretary, at Bainbridge Park.
