FABULOUS, quick to start and showing ability in the footing, shook off IF IDA leaving the back stretch and withstood FLAG BOY under hard urging. The latter, rushed up to the winner, came through on the inside and fought it out stubbornly. IF IDA, prominent throughout, was hard urged to withstand SCOTCH PEPPER. The latter raced gamely in the last half mile. DONEE raced green. HONEYSWEET was outrun. BREAD CRUMB did not favor the eoing. The latter worked his way up on the outside in the closing three-eighths and would have won in another stride. CHLO BOY raced close up. REDIV1VUS finished resolutely. PRINCE WICK saved ground in. the late stages, but tired quickly. SUSPICIOUS could not get up. LITTLE WING was outrun. The latter, racing in suddenly improved form, drew clear -on the first turn, shook off MING SUN and SYRIAC and came again after relinquishing the lead on the stretch turn. BUB McFARLAND outlasted SYRIAC. The latter tired in the stretch. TARNISH could not menace the leaders. MING SUN quit. AXENBY was taken to the outside and propped at the star.
