TORO FLIGHT, fractious at the post, was outrun for half a. mile, closed fast under punishment, but was overmatched. LACKEY tired after showing early speed. COUNT TETRARCH failed to keep up. The latter, improved, gained gradually and, closing strongly, could not overhaul the winner. RIZLA moved up gamely, but did not menace the first two. FLYING JUSTICE showed good speed while making the early pace, but gave way suddenly entering the stretch. FAIR IMAGE raced poorly. PRINCE SULIEMAN quit. TREVALLION was outrun. FRISCO had no mishaps.
