w OWNER WM. F. PHELAN DIES NEW YORK, N. Y., April 18. William F. Phelan, retired merchant and owner of several thoroughbreds, which were trained by J. Simon Healy, died at Mary Immaculate Hospital Wednesday. Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon from his Richmond Hill, L. I., home. A requiem mass will be chanted on Tuesday at the Infant Jesus Church in Richmond Hill.
