I LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES 1 Two fillies, half sisters to the stakes winners, French Lass and Brannon, comprise the younger division of the stable T. L. Pierce transferred here from Lexington. They are Susan Hay, a brown daughter of Dis Done and Norther, and Porcellus, a chestnut-coated miss by Hard Tack Anna Leighton. Pierce also has Iocan, a three-year-old black gelding by Busy American and Caroline O., and Hal Ray, a chestnut geld-mg of the same age by Citizen and Bet-sinda. Another pair of three-year-olds, Go-bet and Buddy Tracy, complete the stable. Three two-year-olds owned by the estate of Theo. Blount are among the horses Al Thomas is training at the Downs. They are Peter H., a son of Peter Hastings; Waygood Lad, a colt by Waygood, and the Ballot filly, My Grace. Thomas also has Meehan Brothers Derby eligible, Carroll Day, and the filly Lady Friend, his own property. Leo ODonnell had Prank J. Navins Real Jam, and his own My Louellen and Emis-sora vanned to the Downs from Dougla3 Park. Real Jam is a three-year-old, and an unsexed son of Peter Hastings and Jane Cameron. ODonnells pair, both juveniles, are daughters of Upset Black Lou, and Emissary Pandora Girl. Shandon Farms Naval Cadet, which went amiss while under preparation for the 1934 Kentucky Derby, is going along most satisfactory, according to trainer J. J. Greely, Jr. He has leeh here for two weeks, having shipped from Lexington with the two-year-olds, Trouper, Rose Thatcher, Cinar, Miss Twinkle and Gal-mica, all Shandon Farm home-breds. Other of the Srfandon horses comprising the stable J. J. Greely, Sr., has at Havre de Grace and which campaigned so successfully through the Bowie meeting, are due here in advance of the opening. Four Shandon , youngsters are eligible for the Bashford Manor Stakes to be renewed here Saturday, May 11. They are Bright Light, Cellaigh, Lemont and Cinar. a day at Arlington Downs. What horses Mose Lowenstein, who has twenty-one at Lexington, races here will be handled by his brother, Jake Lowenstein. In addition to his own, Mose is training several for Mrs. John D. Hertz and Cary T. Grayson.
