HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES $ - - George Alexandra reported that J. E. Smallmans Canterboy is on th e road to recovery following a dose of poisoning that was administered during the Bowie meeting by unknown persons. D. Peregoy, formerly in the employ of the S. W. Labrot stable, accepted his first riding assignments when he rode Smoke Stack and Lookby for his contract employer, W. G. Townsend, in the second and seventh races Wednesday. The Bomar Stable, Detroit-owned establishment, will be shipped to Pimlico following the close of the Havre de Grace meeting. Later the stable will be shipped to Detroit to await the opening of the Fair Grounds course. Dr. H. J. McCarthy unsexed one of the two-year-olds in the stable that James Healey has quartered here. The youngster is a son of Royal Canopy. Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary, looks forward to a field of sixteen or more juveniles to start in the Aberdeen Stakes, which will be decided here on Wednesday, April 24.
