PIMLIC0 STAKES AND PURSES Minimum Overnight Offering for Fall Meeting to Be $ 9 0 0 Dates for Stakes Announced. BALTIMORE, ML, June 5. At a meeting of the directors held Tuesday, stakes and purses were approved for the Maryland Jockey Clubs autumn meeting, which will commence on October 31 and continue until November 14. The minimum purses will be 00, ,000 and ,200 for overnight races on the flat and ,000 in a jumping race. A claiming stake for three-year-olds and upward, with ,000 added, will be run on the first day, Thursday, October 31. The Maryland Futurity will be run on the first Saturday with 5,000 added and has already closed. To continue the eligibility in the 1935 Futurity, a further payment of 0 is due July 1, 1935. The Baltimore Handicap, for all ages, with ,500 added, at six iurlongs, will be run on the first Tuesday. The Riggs, with ,500 added, for three-year-olds and upward at a mile and three-sixteenths, will be run on the second Saturday. The Walden, with ,500 added, for two-year-olds, at a mile and one-sixteenth, will be run on Armistice Day.. The last day of the meeting a two-year-old claiming stake, with ,000 added, at one mile and seventy yards, has been reserved. It was also decided to close all of the stakes for the autumn meeting 1935, Thursday,. August 15. It was decided to renew the Futurity for 1936, 1937 and 1938, and added monies will be announced later, the first division to be run in 1936.
