TRY IT began slowly, improved his position steadily, disposed of CLAFLAG after reaching the stretch and drew away. CLAFLAG was rushed into a big early lead, but weakened after three-quarters. JOHN MILL raced close to the pace all of the way and was best of the others. CLOTHTOP closed with a good burst of speed. PANOUT acted badly at the post, broke poorly from outside the gate and was eased up after eoine three-quarters. BILL ANDY had speed for a half, then quit.
