I BAIN BRIDGE PARK NOTES Lon Bellew was an arrival with two horses. H. D. Walker unloaded Hell Diver, Zode, Gallopette. Mrs. E. E. Levy has Aga-sun and Donna Lascari. John Oran shipped Sporting Maudie and Gold Tip from Columbus. Others coming along at the same time were R. P. Tice with the following: Thistle Flirt, Statecraft, Instead, Luna Bright, Dakol and My Leonardo. S. D. Hudson unloaded Happy Scot, Marge, Water Rose, Polisher, Laniviola. L. E. Bowlen unloaded Lessing. Stanley Stafford had Game, Game Annie and Knockabout E. Warner had Princess Volta, Domino Player and Kyota, John Salinsls;i had Pillnita, Avail and Delgado. Another useful string arriving from Columbus was that of the Monarch Stable: Astraghan, Dark Thoughts, Mere Prince, Wracket Lady, Saladin, Supero and Visionary. Ray Bryson, who visited Hagerstown Sunday, also visited Charles Town in the interest of horses. He announces several head will come -from the latter point. ,One carload of horses, including Soupcon, winner of the Hagerstown Derby, arrived Monday morning. There was a total of thirteen horses in the shipment. Otto Bagley was an arrival from Detroit on Sunday where he has Transmutable, which is nominated in the Ohio Derby. He said the horse will run in the local stake. He also announced that a carload of horses, including four of his own, would leave Detroit Tuesday for Bainbridge Park. The f ollowing were additions to the jockey colony here over the week end: J. Long, Joe Sylvester, R. Klein, F. Tice and G. Quaken-bush. Frankie Seremba announced that Outre-mont, his crack two-year-old, worked the fastest of any horse on the track here, turning in a, half mile in :47 Monday. He is being pointed for the two-year-old stakes, Woodward, at Detroit, and Hyde Park, at Chicago. v Every horse running in the Kings Plate in Canada on Monday was bred by Joseph Cattarinich, including Pestle, which runs in his name. Ohio race fans "will see Tearout, D. R. Midkiffs crack three-year-old which won the Latonia Derby and ran third in the Illinois Derby. He. was nominated for the Ohio State following the running of the Illinois event. Weather conditions here have never been more ideal and the soft cushion on the ,track has been the increasing favorable comment of horsemen coming here from other points. All the barns have been re-roofed and racing" secretary Leigh announces that he still has available stall room on the Bainbridge grounds for horsemen contemplating shipping here.
