1 DETROIT TURF NOTES J s Emmett Potts, trainer of the Bomar Stable, stated Wednesday morning that Grand Girl came out of her Tuesdays engagement with a deep and severe cut on her left hind leg. Potts said he would be lucky to save the filly for racing. ft Otto Bagley shipped Pent House and Service Man to B. Bagley at Bainbridge and is receiving Dauntless Miss from that point Sam Guarnire arrived from Cleveland for a- few days of racing. Frank Grand shipped Le Flore, Morning Cry and Lady Mary to H. Lintz at Bainbridge. Arakay accompanied Mrs. Charles Hairis-worths Blackbirder here from Latonia. Fred M. Alger, Jr.s Azucar and E. F. Seagrams Stand Pat were seen in three-quarters trials over the muddy track here Wednesday morning. Stand Pat, winner of the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap, breezed the distance in 1:18 and Azucar went in 1:20. The horses J. J. Sirl received from Bainbridge Wednesday morning are Silver Tidings, Gladess, Royal Charm, Panic Relief, Day Toy and Cubanette. They are the property of E. E. Watts. Charles H. Morris received Golden Quest from Narragansett. The three-year-old is the property of Miss M. Connelli. Judge Joseph A. Murphy received word from Phil Reuter that Roman. Soldier would leave Chicago Sunday and would be at Detroit Monday morning. The Cohort three-year-did will be accompanied by Laura S. and a stable pony. He will receive here his final preparation for the Detroit Derby, to be decided Saturday, June 15.
