BLACK HELENS NEXT START HOMEWOOD, 111., June 5. William Hurley, trainer for the western division of Col. E. R. Bradleys stable, today announced that the next start of the sensational three-year-old filly Black Helen will be in the American Derby on June 22. Her stablemate, Bloodroot, is also an expected American Derby starter. The two fillies returned early this week from Belmont Park, where oh Saturday Black Helen won the Coaching Club American Oaks, with Bloodroot second.
