Where house odds, were ac- J cepted the procedure should be as f ol- J lows: If was bet on each horse and 1 2 1-2 to 1 laid on Whipper Cracker, j the pay-off should be .75 to the bet- j tor and .75 to the layer; if 2 to 1 ! was laid on Pulis the pay-off should j be .50 to the player and .50 to the j Jayer. !
