SEMESTER, on the inside throughout, held on gamely, but was no threat. ROLANDA, away slowly, failed to be a strong factor under weak handling. FLIGHLETTE had no excuse. DONNAPEEP failed to tiirpatcn under strong riding. DRINKWATER was far back from the start. BLIND STAR quit. POLLY PLUM was through after racing thrce-eighlhs. AMAZEMENT broke slowly from, the outside, reached contention, but could not keep up. ANIMATE, JERRY W. and AMAZEMENT delayed the start.
