THIRD DERBY WINNER ARRIVES Rushaway Joins He Did and Holl Image at Arlington Downs Seek Texas Derby Victory. ARLINGTON, Texas, March 31. With the arrival of A. G. Tarns Rushaway, winner of the Louisiana Derby at New Orleans Sunday, three Derby winners of 1936 are stabled at palatial Arlington Downs, awaiting the renewal of the 5,000 added Texas Derby, which is down for decision, April 18. He Did, Mrs. S. B. Masons sterling son of Victorian, which turned back a fast field in the Santa Anita Derby, was the first of the invaders, and then followed Jack Carters Holl Image, after his impressive triumph in the Arkansas Derby. Rushaway was one of six eligibles for the Texas feature to reach here early this afternoon, coming in a car that contained Miss Bam, a stablemate; B. Hernandez Zuni, Lolschen and Flag Cadet, and Clyde Troutts Palm Island. The sextet made the trip in good fashion and had several other members of Troutts stable as companions. A large gallery was on hand to view the unloading of the Derby winner, which established a new track record in leading Lolschen and nine others to the finish of the nine furlongs. However, Hernandez was well pleased with Lolschens strong second to Rushaway and remarked that Lolschen forced Rushaway to a new record in defeating him. Their arrival brought the Derby colony quarters here to forty-three, while there are several three-year-olds that may be named through the supplementary nominations that close Saturday, April 4.
