Dr. E. J. Sullivan, accompanied by his son, was an arrival from Saratoga for a days racing. Jockeys Hanford, Workman and Litzen-berger left for Detroit to fulfill engagements in the Detroit Derby. Frank J. Kearns will ship the Calumet Stable and other horses he has here to Suffolk Downs for that meeting. George "Slim" Sully has been appointed steward of the outdoor Paddock Club at Saratoga upon the recommendation of H. J. Thompson, Bill Clancy and Mickey Miles.
