DEAD HEAT AT DETROIT DETROIT, Mich., June 12. The fifth dead heat of the meeting prevailed when Bar-rette and Imperial Bill finished so closely aligned at the end of the mile and seventy yards seventh race that the camera failed to separate them. Cablegram, which finished on the inside, was placed third. Bar-rette drove down on the outside to finish with Imperial Bill and Cablegram at the end.
