AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES The additional platform space in the clubhouse will add 2,530 square feet to the present surface. The six steps and the platform will be ready in time for todays racing, according to contractor Fitzpatrick, who is in charge of the detail. Jockey E. Smith, astride Alahad in the first race, was fined 5 by the starter for disobedience at the post in the first race Friday. George Carroll has taken over the engagement book of jockey Yager and agent for trainer Milo Shields. Jockey S. Hebert, who was at Rockingham Park with the division of the A. G. Vanderbilt stable at that point, returned here and will race out this meeting.
