FULL UP displayed the most speed from the start, set the early pace under mild reserve, drew out when urged and easily held sway to the end. GOV. LAFFOON forced the pace throughout, offered a game bid, but was overmatched. WELL HEELED improved his position gradually and finished well. SQUEEZE OUT, well up for a half mile, tired in the stretch. SOUTHLAND TOY had no mishaps. MISS TWINKLE began quickly, bolted soon after the start and was far out on the track thereafter. WOODWAY raced well. JASCHA, hustled into command and holding her advantage while under snug restraint on the turn, came away fast through the final quarter and had something left. MY GEM, well up after the first five-sixteenths and saving much ground,; tired, but outstayed THREAT. The latter, receiving a hustling ride, showed speed from the start, hut tired in the last eighth. TWO SONS raced wide. SAINTE DESPOIR began well, but dropped back on the turn. JERRY H. was never prominent. ORWAY quit. MONROE began slowly and lacking speed, was badly outrun. Won easily; second and third driving. PHAROSAY, fractious at the post but away well and having good speed, bore out badly for about three-eighths, raced to the front after swinging to the outside on the stretch turn and again bore out when drawing away tin ouch the stretch. CEALLAIGH, a factor from the start and in hand early, was racing stoutly when cased as the winner swerved in the stretch and faltered under pressure in the last seventy yards, but outstayed SUN X. The latter came to the outside in the stietch and closed fast. KABO had speed from the start, but tired after a half mile. BLACK WIDOW could not get to the leaders and also tired in the late stages. FOND MEMORIES, under pressure from the start, raced WHO SAID into submission before reaching the last three-sixteenths drew clear approaching the final eighth, then tired but just failed to last. DARK PRINCE, forced to lose ground, improved his position steadily and finished well. EQUANIMITY could not get to the leaders and tired in the drive. WHO SAID tired badly. MISS RITZ displayed the most speed from the start, saved ground throughout and held on well to the final sixteenth, where she tired badly. INSCRIPTION also had speed and tired in the closing stages. DIANE S. had no mishaps. OH DOLLY tired. EVENING GOWN stumbled badly when in close quarters approaching the turn. DAINTY JEANNE fell lame during the race. Overweight Miss Ritz. 4 pounds. STROPHE improved her position gradually, closed resolutely, but was no threat. WHITE LEGS besan slowly and was widely outrun early, then bettered his position in the stretch under punishment.
