CURLING, displaying good speed running on the outside of FORGET NOT, gained a slight lead entering the stretch and barely lasted to gain the award. FORGET NOT showed a good effort and just failed to get up. GOOD DAME took an advantage at the start, but could not retain her advantage long. RHODIUS raced evenly and was hard urged all the way. SCOUT PLANE - made up ground steadily on the outside. OFF AND ON was through after showing good speed to the stretch. MISS EPE raced well for a half mile, then quit badly thereafter. FITKIN lacked speed at all times. BETTY SHAW delayed the start, only to be pulled up shaiply right after the start. GLORIA MERCEDES was pulled up when well beaten. VENETIAN, unable to keep up in the early running, began closing up at the far turn and was wearing the leaders down at the finish. SUN WAY could never get close to the leaders. FOGARTY, going kindly, was never far from the pace, moved through between horses and gained ground at the end. THREE DAGGERS was well placed under restraint, then tired when the final test came. FAIR COUNTESS dropped back to last place after the break, then gained ground steadily throughout. CANPRA displayed good form for one mile. The others were never dangerous. POPO forced the pace under restraint, responded well when called upon, but could not match the winners stride. OVERSTIMULATE droppd far back the first quarter, moved up slowly rounding the stretch turn, but could not reach the leaders. ARDOR quit after making the most of the early pace.
