I PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES FOR CHICAGO DERBY j L --.4 With all the better western three-year-olds nominated and more eastern nominations expected, the 5,000 added Chicago Derby, to have its tenth running at Hawthorne next Saturday, seems certain of a stellar field. Nineteen have been named so far, with more expected. Since Hawthornes late closing of stakes has brought out a remarkably high ratio of actual starters, it is believed at least ten will try for the 5,000 added prize.
