f AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES j $ : The second edition of the condition book for the meeting was distributed during Saturday afternoon. An oil painting of Sgt. Byrne, John Sim-onettis Paumonok winner, done by W. Cleary is on display in the clubhouse. A change in the judges stand will be in vogue at Belmont Park for the fall meeting. The officials will be on the roof and an unsaddling paddock for stake winners will be erected on the present stand site. Jack Campbell, racing secretary, was the recipient of a box of cigars during the afternoon. He refused to make known the occasion for the gift but those close to him stated that jokers always pay. Frank Lloyd, motion picture director, was among the clubhouse visitors. He came from Salem, Mass., where he is on location. Jockey I. Anderson left for Boston in company with Frank Kearns for whom he will ride. "Miami" Sutherland took over the engagement books of jockeys Coffman and Cart-wright. Charles McCullogh of Chicago was among the Saturday visitors. John Hertz was on hand to witness the Carter Handicap. Starter Roy Dickerson was a visitor and will remain for a few days before going to Arlington Park. Jockeys Hanford, Workman, Woolf and Richards are due back over the week-end from out-of-town engagements.
