TED CLARK IN PUBLIC TRIAL TORONTO, Ont., June 13. With Charles Ralls in the saddle, Dr. C. N. Mooneys six-year-old Ted Clark, winner of the 0,000 added Waggoner Handicap at Arlington Downs, Texas, gave a public demonstration of his speed in preparation for the Thistle Down Inaugural Handicap that will be his first objective this year when he worked five furlongs between the fourth and fifth races at Long Branch Saturday, covering the distance in 1:00. The son of Chat-terton and Uncles Lassie reeled off the first quarter in :234s, half mile in :48 and final eighth in :12. He pulled up in splendid condition and will have several more useful trials before leaving for the Ohio course.
