: i HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES s $ George H. Foster, secretary to the Illinois Racing Commission, will be at Arlington Park Friday and Saturday mornings to accept applications for licenses from jockeys and trainers. Tommy McGee, who for many years was one of the late Edward Corrigans aides, acting in the capacity of agent and business manager, visited Hawthorne Monday and will remain a few days before returning to his home in Kansas City. Sam Roberts, ninety-seven pound seventeen-year-old Kansas City boy, has reported to the main division of the Thomas C. Wor-den stable here. He tame from Kansas City, where he rode several starters from the unit of the Worden establishment campaigning at Riverside Park. Although Roberts has yet to score his first victory, he is regarded : an excellent prospect.
