ILLINOIS OWNERS HANDICAP St. Bernard and Corinto Top Weights for Hawthornes Saturday Feature With 118 Pounds. St. Bernard and Corinto, two probable starters among fifteen eligible for the race, are top weights for the renewal of the ,000 added Illinois Owners Handicap, to be presented as the stake feature of Saturdays final program of the Hawthorne meeting. Asked to carry 118 pounds each, they are assigned three pounds more than Chasar, five more than Spanish Babe and six more than Nellie Flag and Forever Yours, which come next in that order. Holl Image and Silent Shot, others held in high regard by racing secretary and handi-capper Julius G. Reeder, must take up 110 pounds each if they participate in the race, which will be decided over the testing route of one mile and a furlong. The entire list of entries, with weights, follows: Horse.
