C. in preparation for the racing season. G. D. Wideners Rebellion was excused from his engagement Monday. The colt developed a high temperature during the morning. Jockey S. Renick returned from Suffolk Downs, where he rode Airflame on Saturday. Jockey R. Workman arrived from Chicago, where he rode Tatterdemalion in the Derby. Walter F. Jeffords arrived from Lexington, where he inspected the yearlings that he has at that point. Jockey E. Litzenberger left for Suffolk Downs while R. Kastner returned from that point. Jockey T. Malley resumed riding, his first appearance since his injury on May 5 at Jamaica. John Hay Whitneys Mr. Eones will be pointed for the Arlington Classic, his next major engagement. Flamenco will be shipped here to Fred Hopkins from Suffolk Downs and that conditioner will handle him for the remainder of the season. -
