j LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I . Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Whitney, who came Saturday for an inspection of the Whitney Farm and horses, left Monday afternoon for New York. Major Louie A. Beard will have an announcement to make in a day or two concerning the yearlings which are to bo sold by C. V. Whitney at Saratoga Springs, Tuesday, August 4, the first evening of the Fastig-Tipton Companys annual vendue at the Spa. Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords, after a week delightfully spent at Faraway Farm, returned Sunday to their home at Glen Riddle. Pa. Jonan Fisher, Jr., master of the Caves Farm, Eccleston, Md., is here for an inspection of the Samuel D Riddle yearlings, to be sold at Saratoga Springs, Thursday, August 6, as well as the stallions and brood marcs at the home of the famous Man o War.
