I DUFFERIN PARK NOTES f Jockey Glen Horn was suspended for the remainder of the meeting at Dufferin Park for rough riding astride Morvim in the third race Monday. In an effort to stamp out rough riding at Dufferin Park, the stewards, after suspending Glen Horn early in the afternoon, announced that jockeys E. Burns and T. Barker were given the same sentence for rough riding astride Roche DOr and Big Fish, respectively, in the fifth race. The three riders will spend the remainder of the meeting on the ground. In addition to being suspended for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding, jockey Glen Horn was fined 5 by starter Thomas Clark for disobedience at the post in the third race Monday. A large crowd took advantage of the first free gate of the present meeting at Dufferin Park, which comes at 5 oclock every day except Saturday. Customers coming in at this time are able to witness the sixth and seventh Taces as the guests of the local management. Pat Brady arrived at Long Branch from Rockingham Park with three horses for a campaign on the Canadian circuit. The shipment included Fred Almy, Payrack and Dark Loveliness. Baby Sweep, which had been in the consignment, was left at the farm of C. S. Madison at Fort Erie.
