LETTY ORMONT raced wide all the way in the best going, but lost too much ground and tired in the final eighth. CLOIDO closed well. DR. TWINK showed a Hash of earlv speed. CHI CHI quit. CHEHALIS took the lead at the iirst turn, was kept out in the good going, came on the inside on the lower turn, responded gamely in the drive and outlasted COTLO BESS. The latter forced the early pace, assumed the lead on the lower turn, held on gamely in the drive, but was not good enough. BOSTON COMMON, well placed in the early running, closed with a rush on the outside in the final eighth and was going gamely at the end. RODANIA, under early restraint, lost ground while moving up, showed in front briefly in the stretch and held on well. SINGLE STRIPE tired badly. Scratched 345S0 Rodger Witch, 105. HIGH FIDELITY, in close quarters in the early running, saved ground entering the stretch and finished gamely. SKY CLOUD took the lead under sufferance, but tired badly in the stretch. DEPUTATION, far back early, came through on the inside entering the stretch and closed well. KRAKERJAC took a short lead at the first turn, dropped back badly on the lower turn and beat tired horses at the end. SID LEA quit badly. BANGOBAR raced well for a half mile. MISS ESTHER closed gamely in the final quarter mile. CUT PRICE started from outside the gate, raced wide all the way and finished gamely.
