RIDDLE MARES AT AUCTION Helsingf ors II. Heads Band of Fifteen Mares Composed of Daughters of Many Noted Stallions. LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 10. Samuel D. Riddle, owner of Glen Riddle Farm, has consigned fifteen mares to the Lexington sales, October 19, and among them are daughters of Man o War, Friar Rock, Big Blaze and others. One in this lot certain to attract attention is imported Helsingfors II., 1920, by Ramrod La Hesse. At the Saratoga sales a yearling from this same mare brought ,300 under the hammer. Another yearling vvhich brought ,700 at Saratoga was from Calypso, 1925, a bay daughter of Friar Rock Kathryn Harlan, which will be sold at Lexington.
