f SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES a o George Edward3 will make the riding engagements of jockey Stuart Vail during the Sportsmans Park meeting. W. J. Curran registered six head he will race here for Harry Herendeen. The horses which R. B. Allen will race here are Brass Buttons, Palatine Belle, John M. Kover, Kitty Kover, Geraldine M., Aptine, Ed B. Moss and Magic Line, the property of various owners. 1 S. F. Murphy, acting for the M. and M. Stable, Saturday bought Eispan, a two-year-old filly, from R. Cochran for an undisclosed sum. Murphy, who will race his horses here, left for Omaha, where he will take up several young racers. He is expected back the beginning of next week. T. Troutt has only the horse Discourse to represent him at this time. Capt Jeffers and Bank Me have been here some time awaiting the opening of the meeting. They are in charge of J. A. Maher. The horses which S. C. Hunt has here are Attauquechee, Hows Chances and Teerna-hilla. The six horses which W. J. Jenkinson will campaign through the local meeting are Its Keen. Keen Gloaming, Keenest B., Sweetest Heart, All Deuces and Copper aLd. Charles Briddle has four which he is preparing for the Cicero season. They are Our David, Fabius, Gypsie Chief and Skidmore. The horses of L. M. Severson were expected here from Lincoln Fields, Sunday. They are Spicson, Spickeen, Bull Dozer, Plenty Charm and Sweet Pearl. A. Foster has only two horses here, Ru-bans Choice and Gulfelano. One of the largest stables on the grounds will be that of William OTooles Blue Ridge Farm Stable, in charge of Otto Baglcy. Included in this establishment are Understand, Red Flyer, Mr. James, Lame Duck, Trans-fun, Witan, Sir Ajax, El Bailarino, Jockana, Weelukie, Miss Stroller, Water Play, Immer-sal. Red Go, Cardarrone, Parsifuria, Gallant Boy and Jeffrey. Jockey T. P. Martin is attached to the stable. Another of the larger stables is that which John Sainton trains for various owners. This string includes Marvue, Fancy. Fan, Scotland Topsy, Double Kerry, Evening Gown, Cheerus, Whatina, Goldman, Sarah Justice, Luckily, Faybe, Black Peter and John Pal. His Way and Miss Gamier will represent H. E. Adams during the Sportsmans Park meeting. Four head have been registered by E. J. OConnell. They are Warrior Slave; Little Mistake, Coffee Cup and First Time. Included among horses which Al Horton will race here is Ipso Facto, recently purchased from the Thomas C. Worden stable. The veteran Damascene, Crabtree and Whiskarita are here in charge of J. J. Ma-loney.
