DEATH TAKES H. A. LISTER MONTREAL, Que.. Oct. 10. Thorough-oughbred racing in Canada has lost an intelligent constructive factor in the death of H. A. Lister, who passed away suddenly in Montreal Thursday night. He also was a prominent figure in the administration of racing in Western Canada. Mr. Lister had just come cast from Winnipeg and was on his way to his home when stricken with the fatal illness. Lister was well known in racing circles but in late years has spent his time in connection with James Speers organization in Western Canada. He was 50 years of age and is survived by his widow. His remains were taken to Toronto for burial.
