f LINCOLN FIELDS TURF NOTES f j s The horses which S. B. Ot has been racing here for various owners are to be shipped to Lexington. Included in the shipment will bo Maple Ricca, Glentar, Blue Blazer, Chi-peta, Alice Jean and Ccliba. In a private transaction here Saturday morning Ott acquired Ccliba from the Eskay Stable. Frank P. Letellier, New Orleans horseman, is dividing his stable, sending one division to Lexington and the other to Louisville. Jockey Joe Cowley will accompany the division which goes to Lexington. J. J. Flanigan, who has the Valdina Farm horses here, has made arrangements to ship the entire stable to Churchill Downs. Making up a car together, H. H. Battle and Kenneth Noe shipped the horses in their charge to Lexington over the week-end. Jockey George South also went to Lexington. He is under contract to Battle. Another stable which will leave here with Churchill Downs as its destination is that trained by Phil Reiily. The string includes fifteen head. George Swain, an attache of the secretarys office here, left for Lexington, where he will serve in a similar capacity at the Keeheland Associations track. Included in the string which W. Buck sent to California is Dave Sawayas Parsifera, whose conditioning he will direct Otto Bagley formerly trained the horse. Kenneth Noe, acting for C. L. Croan, Saturday sold Bay Memor to J. Benedetto for a private consideration. William Crump was shipping his stable to Lexington Sunday. Included in the consignment is the good filly Merina, winner last Saturday of the Joliet Handicap. One of the larger stables getting away from here Sunday for Arlington Downs was that of R. O. Higdon, who campaigns the horses of the Eskay Stable. Included in the shipment will be Golden Knight, Celiba, Robert L., Honest Susan, Bright Bubble, Good Cheer, Irish Image, El Rococo and Lady Mar. Going in the same car will be Malimou and Norman D., owned by E. R. Moulder. The Eskay Stable already has four horses at the Texas track.
