RECENT HOLLYWOOD RECRUITS Robert Riskin and Miss Ethel Hill Latest Film Folks to Enter the Ranks of Horse Owners. AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, April 20. Hollywood film folk, who have recently entered racing, are turning to the Agua Caliente track which opens May 8, as the battleground, for their thoroughbreds. The latest are from Robert Riskin and Miss Ethel Hill. Both are enthusiastic thoroughbred owners, and both are well known writers under contract to Columbia Pictures. Miss Hill is the owner of the horses Home Loan, Marpal, The Bailiff, Hut, Lady Sage and Suddenly. Riskins are Irksome and Thistle Air. All horses are trained by C. A. Roles and will be shipped here at the conclusion of the Bay Meadows meeting. Most of these horses ran creditably at the last Santa Anita meeting.
