RECORD MAY BE THREATENED" Unbeaten Huskie Boy and Liberty Scout Named for Juvenile Stakes Today at Arlington Downs. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 20. With visions of Hoyles American Record of :52 for four and one-half furlongs being equalled or approached, tomorrows renewal of the ,000 added Juvenile Stakes should be the most brilliant race for horses of this age offered since the sport was revived at palatial Arlington Downs. With the unbeaten Huskie Boy, holder of the four furlongs record, and Liberty Scout, winner of his only start and holder of the four and one-half furlongs record of :54 among the eight named for the dash, the race, in event of a fast track, should result in a new local mark and one that will equal or approach the record established by Hoyle under the light impost of 105 pounds at Aqueduct in 1908. Excepting Hands Down, the only filly in the race, Cautivo and Born Black, both maidens, the youngsters will carry 119 pounds each. The others carry 116 pounds. The stakes will be the fifth race of a brilliant program, which also includes the Schenley Handicap, the San Jacinto Purse, and the Lost Horizon Purse. In the Schenley, Bacon, and Boston Sound will renew their battle under top impost of 114 pounds each. A light shower early this morning benefited the track, and in the event of clear weather the footing should be in its best condition. With San Jacinto Day a state holiday, a crowd which should vie with some of the largest of the meeting is expected.
