Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. FLOPSIE showed speed from the start and was taken under restraint when outrun, saved ground entering the stretch and then disposed of WISE KING in the final drive. The latter was rushed into command shortly after the break on the outside, showed early speed and had no mishaps. RAFTER broke well and was a forward factor all the way, bore out slightly entering the stretch and finished on the outside of the leaders. PEACEFUL finished with good courage from a slow beginning. GRAND JESTER, close to the pace from the start, had no mishaps. MANY MOONS was placed under pressure entering the stretch and then faltered. SILVERY WAY dosed steadily from a slow beginning. DUNFOX was in close quarters after the break. HIGH MONGUL was in close quarters and was bumped after the start. GROUND OAK and HIS. NIBS failed to improve their positions. DEDUCE raced close to the pace from the beginning and then came around the leaders entering the stretch, responded to urging and drew clear at the end. VELVET MASK forced the pace from the start and, on the outside of the leader, held on gamely in the final eighth. FREE AGAIN was rushed into command at the break, showed early speed while saving ground and had no excuses. MY KIN overcame early interference and closed well through the stretch. MUGGINS was well up from the start, then faltered under urging after rounding the stretch turn. SIR TEN was in close quarters after the break. TOBY TYLER raced evenly. RUFFY began slowly and made up some ground slowly. BONSOIR raced wide entering the stretch LIGHT was away poorly. INACTIVE reared at the start. GALLOPING ON had no mishaps. The latter was rushed into command, showed early speed, but bore out rounding the stretch and then finished straight on the inside: PAPA JACK dwelt slightly at the start, moved up with determination, but could not menace the leaders. ALARMING was close up in the early stages and had no mishaps. WHOA BOY raced greenly during the running. MINIMUM bore out rounding the far turn and lost much ground entering the stretch. AT POST 2 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. UP AND DOING slipped through on the inside rounding the first turn and drew away into -a brief lead, was rated along steadily, but was steered wide rounding the stretch turn and closed gamely under urging. MOSAWTRE broke well and was under restraint in the early running, was placed under pressure rounding the far turn came around to the outside and finished well to outlast ROUGH DIAMOND. The latter, a trailer in the early running, improved his position steadily on the inside, made a determined bid in the stretch and then hung. ELYLEE broke well and showed speed to the first tum. bore out sharply midway of the turn and recovered quickly, but faltered in the stretch. WHIZZAWAY, fractious; going to the post and unseating his rider, ran away a quarter before the race, broke well and saved much ground entering the stretch, then faltered. NAUTCH, quick to begin, showed early speed, but bore out entering the streteh and carried GOLD MESH with him and then came again. CHIEF CHEROKEE saved ground entering the stretch. GOLD MESH was moving, up on the outside at the stretch turn when bothered by NAUTCH. HIGH IMAGE faltered under pressure at the end.
