I GOVERNOR DETERMINED TO I I REPEAL RACING MEASURE . t - - .------4 AUSTIN, Texas, April 20. Gov. James V. Allred today declared he would call a special session of the legislature if the Bradbury bill to repeal mutuel betting and outlaw all forms of wagering on races is not voted on by the senate when the present session adjourns May 12. The bill has been passed by the house. "I will fight all summer, if necessary, to force a vote," Governor Allred said. It is unlikely that the bill can come before the senate in its regular order before adjournment. Following the governors statement today repealists will try again for a vote this week or next. Five attempts to bring up the bill have been unsuccessful since it was reported out of committee.
