Edward Haughton is shipping the large stable he trains for Mrs. Floyd West and his wifes account to Narragansett Park, Saturday morning. Z. E. McGregor received word that jockey Pat Camp, who was badly injured when thrown from the mare Mae at New Brauns-fel3 last week, was greatly improved. The lad is confined -to a San Antonio hospital. B. M. Smith, who held the contract of apprentice R. L. Vedder, sold the papers to the boys father. Frank Orr has leased Veddcrs services for the rest of the meeting. Tom Marshall is shipping the horses that race under his wifes colors to Narragansett Park at the end of this meeting. In the event he is successful in securing stalls, C. E. Allen will send his small stable to the Rhode Island track. Miss G. Killeen purchased the three-year-old Rolled Notes from King Ranch. Terms were private.
