TORNADIC, away slowest, worked his way forward steadily, responded to strong urging after reaching the stretch, forged to the front in the final eighth and won easily. MISS WEBB, a strong factor from the start, moved up fast after reaching the stretch, was lucky to escape KHAMSEENS unruly tactics and tired near the end. KHAMSEEN rushed to the front, increased its advantage after five-sixteenths, bore out badly approaching the final eighth and tired thereafter. ROBERTA raced on the inside. and tired. LADY CHAR. W. Buck; bred by Mr. G. Collins. WENT TO POST 2:46. AT POST 3 minutes. Start good and slow for all but Texline. Won easily; second and third driving. TRIPLE PLAY, well up from the start, moved into the lead on the outside, was steered to the Inside entering the stretch, swerved over on THISTLE GRACE in the stretch and won easily, but was disqualified and placed last. THISTLE GRACE took command under hustling tactics, gave way to the winner, came again in the drive, was knocked back by the winner, but came again when straightened. TEXLINE jumped into the air at the start, improved its position fast after a half mile, was slightly impeded in the drive and finished fast when clear. AU GOLD, outrun for a half mile, met interference when improving its position in the stretch and closed with a rush. TOM BO TUCK bore out when tiring. NOIR LIGHT swerved in the drive. ANIMATE, well handled, and a strong factor from the start, was saved when outrun, improved her position fast when sent to the outside for the drive and won easily. BARRIDO took command at once, was unable to draw clear, bore over on FREE SPIRIT in the drive and failed to withstand the winner. FREE SPIRIT improved his position fast after five-sixteenths, was forced over on SCYTHE approaching the final eighth and tired thereafter. The latter hustled along from the start, was knocked back in the stretch and tired. GYPSIE CHIEF failed to keep up. GREYBROOM was outrun. WELL BUILT began very slowly and showed nothing. CARUS CLARUS, away slowly and unable to improve its early position, raced forwardly on the outside, responded to strong urging in the stretch and got up in the final stride. JOLYON, weakly ridden and permitted to lose ground for three-quarters, drew clear rapidly after reaching the lead, but failed to last. ROCKRIM moved up fast after five-sixteenths, dropped back approaching the stretch, then came again in the drive and finished well. VAN HASTINGS tired. The latter moved up fast after three-quarters and held on well. WOODLANDER, used up in reaching the lead, tired in the final eighth. The latter was hustled to the front, gave way to the winner, but held on well. HONEST SUSAN worked her way forward through the field and finished fast. CHATTERLY tired after offering a strong bid approaching the final eighth. INDIAN BOY raced on the inside in the stretch. NO CHANGE quit. HOPTOIT showed little.
