1 WOODBINE PARK NOTES I # «. The Cosgrave stables juvenile Blazing Fair came out of the first race Tuesday | with bucked shins and will be given a few days rest. K. S. Cleveland arrived in Toronto with his useful string and they are quartered at Long Branch. The consignment includes Chair Dreams, Maryan D. and Chip Up. S. Rizzo, well known Hamilton, Ontario merchant, returned to the owners ranks when he purchased the home-bred Festive Board at the Thorncliffe Stable dispersal sale. Rizzo formerly raced a small string on the Ontario circuit. Edward Vivelle, mutuel manager at Long Branch, Dufferin Park, and Fort Erie was a visitor at Woodbine Park for the Wednesday program. Mrs. W. G. Kelly, wife of paddock judge Kelly, is confined to her home suffering from a serious heart ailment. Mrs. Kelly has been ailing for some time and is very low. Trainer R. Russell was forced to await shipment to Agawam Park until Friday morning. Russell received confirmation of his stall application Wednesday and decided to remain to run the plater Stormer on Thursdays program. F. W. Kelly who has been employed in the various mutuel plants in Ontario for some years, has been confined to the General Hospital for the past two weeks and is reported to be improving nicely. A subscription was circulated among horsemen and employes of the Ontario Jockey Club to care for the expenses of E. Milne, who was injured while schooling horses at the barrier. Starter Thomas Rowe, has placed the following horses on his schooling list: Trouble Mark, Suffern, Aldwych, Pagan King, Bye Bye Mary, Rebecca Lee, Gentle Knight, Goster, Rural Shower, Miss Gormley, and My Wo. Mr. A. E. Dyment, was the recipient of a cable from London, England from the private secretary as follows: "Please convey his majestys congratulations to Mr. W. I Morrissey on winning the Kings Plate." Mr. Morrissey was presented with the cable by Mr. Dyment.
