Vlincoln fields turf notes] ♦- s The stable of L. Copenhaver is due here Thursday from California, according to word received at the local offices of the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club. Among the larger stables already on the grounds for the meeting is the powerful Calumet Farm Stable of Warren Wright, Chicago patron. In charge of trainer F. J. Kearns, the string embraces about thirty-five horses. Jockey Irving Anderson is attached to the stable. Larry Boyle, custodian of the jockey quarters at Lincoln Fields arrived here from his home in Louisville. C. J. Martin, who has a useful string of horses owned by various patrons will transfer his stable here from Aurora on Friday. He has Little Drift, Ona Boy, Round Heel, Mannerly, Smoky Bush, Kerry-lite and Prince Jean. His son, jockey T. P. Martin also plans to take part in the local meeting. Frank Abbate already has arrived here from Aurora with his horses. His stable is headed by Prince Torch and also includes Veeks, Hermone and Technocracy. G. B. Scallon, Texas owner, will be here shortly after the opening of the Lincoln Fields meeting. His horses will be campaigned here by S. J. Molay, who also has a few racers himself. The horses of Mrs. Ethel Weil, of Chicago, are to be campaigned here by J. A. Kramer. The racers are Bel Espoir, Miss Almadel, and a pair of two-year-olds, Oh Fudge and Alma Nugget. Mose Haller, will be back here again with the useful sprinter, Black River, owned by Mrs. Rose Sullivan. . Trainer Fred Weller vanned Getalong and Social Error from Aurora and will remain throughout the season. •
