LEXINGTON TURF NOTES | 4 i W. E. Caskey, master of Bramble Farm, said today that he has arranged to send Royal Sortie, Bramble Sortie and Closekin from Louisville to Aqueduct, in charge of trainer Rush McCoy, and that he will remain at home to look after the string of fifteen yearlings he will send from Bramble Farm to Saratoga to be sold on Wednesday, August 10. John S. Wiggins returned from Tulsa, Okla., where he visited with Fred B. Koontz at Paul-Fred Farms, and directed the shipment of six yearlings selected at Paul-Fred Farms to his Military Stock Farm, near Paris. The yearlings, which are by Pairby-pair, Sweeping Light and Liberty Limited, are to be sold in the Military Stock Farm consignment at Saratoga, Tuesday, August 9. James D. Stevens left Keeneland this afternoon for Detroit with nine head, which he will race, and he took along Alice Highland and a two-year-old belonging to Hanly C. Ragan, which will be raced by C. R. Allen. M. N. Porter transferred Play Line and Baggala from Paradise Stock Farm to Keeneland Tuesday afternoon. Porter sold to Manley Carter, Callahan and Dominique You, two good hunting prospects which have been shipped to Virginia. Charles C. Van Meter and Mrs. Van Meter went by motor to Chicago. The VanMeter horses were shipped to Lincoln Fields Monday afternoon.
