LUCKY ROLL, well handled, came to the outside in the drive and was getting to the winner. BELL CAP came from far back. JIMMY S. was outrun. GOLDEN RAY was well up when he broke down. CONTRIBUTE, showing his usual good speed, shook off CANTER BELLE and FAY VIXEN in the first half mile, was rated along thereafter and was going smoothly in the stretch. PHILIGAL, shuffled back at the start, saved ground in the early running, came to the outside in the stretch and wore down FAY VIXEN. The latter raced well. PRICEKAN, forced to lose much ground, tired. CANTER BELLE, on the outside, forced the pace for a half mile, then quit. PINEAWAY was outrun. SOUPCON found the track too hard. The latter, outpaced, came with a belated rush in the last sixteenth and was getting to the winner. KITTYS RIVAL, shuffled back at the start, lost much ground thereafter, made a game bid in the stretch and held on well. SCHLEY BUCK, outpaced early, made up some ground. BURSTING tired. The latter, outrun early and hard ridden throughout, came with a great burst of speed in the final eighth and just missed. MYMAN liad early speed and quit badly when challenged. SCHLEY GOREE was going fastest near the end. STAR MAGIC tirpd. LADY PAL was in close quarters early -and, forced to take up, never recovered. NATHAN HALE had no excuses. CHANNING came to the inside entering the stretch after racing, wide and was wearing down the leaders. DONNA BARONA dropped back after a half mile. GOODWINE had no excuses. RAZZLE DAZZLE was outrun.
