The latter weaved his way forward through the field, took command when inside the final eighth, was unable to draw clear, tired near the end, but finished with BROADUS. COPPER ROD, in close quarters the latter part of the trip, closed with a rush. SILVER HORN rushed to the front, set a good pace, gave way in the drive arid tired near the end. BETCHA tired. HASTY RUTH was unable to keep up. BROWN CORNER was outrun. PARI CALL, used up in reaching the lead at a loss of ground, tired rapidly during the final eighth. MYRICA was outrun.
