RETIRING LADY CONFUCIUS LATONIA, Ky., Get. 1. The racing days of Lady Confucius have reached the end, according to Otis Clelland, trainer of the Mrs. R. J. Murphy stable. The mare came out of her recent race in a lame condition, and as soon as she is able to stand the trip, she will be vanned to 3Mrs. Murphys farm in Evansville, Ind., to he retired for breeding purposes.
