PRINTER PREPARING BOOKS LATONIA, Ky., Oct. 1. Racing secretary William H. Shelley has forwarded his book of conditions for the Churchill Downs meeting to the printer and they will be ready for distribution before the close of the local season. The minimum purse will be 00, with a liberal sprinkling of purses ranging in value from 00 to ,000. The Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, carrying ,000 in added value, an estimated gross value of 5,000, will be the feature for closing day, Saturday, November 5. The meeting, embracing seven days, commences October 29.
