SEMICOLON, never a great distance back, came out for the final drive, but could not menace the leaders. MT. WASHINGTON, racing forwardly from the start, finished gamcly. SUN HENRY had no mishaps. KHAR FAIR, well handled and under mild restraint while saving ground, responded to mild urging turning into the stretch and, standing a long drive gamely, withstood SILVER PALM. The latter, under restraint for a half mile, went wide rounding the far turn and, continuing to race on the outside for the final drive, finished gamely. MAEPOP, racing forwardly from the start and on the outside for the final drive, was up in the concluding stride. PLAYMAY, hustled into command, set a good pace under mild pressure and continued gamely through the stretch, but was not good enough. ROSSELLI, steered to the inside turning into the stretch, finished resolutely. WATERCURE had no" mishaps. PERSUADER could not reach the leaders under urging. ADOLF quit. DEDICATION showed nothing. MY DAY, hustled from the start and enjoying a commanding lead approaching the final eighth, was under strong- urging in the final seventy yards, but was unable to withstand the winner. TEPERWINE, hard hustled from the start and forcing the pace, held on gamely. BRIGHT, on the inside early and lacking speed, came out slightly for the final quarter and finished under strong urging. PRINCE ARGO, steered to the inside for the final drive, tired in the last sixteenth. UNASSISTED failed to respond when urged for the final drive. The others were never factors. The latter forced the pace from the start, saved ground in the final drive, but was not good enough. MANHUNT moved to the leaders turning into the stretch, was forced fo race on the outside for clear racing room and was reaching the loaders at the end. SIGN UP finished with a belated rush, reaching the finish on equal terms with RUNMILTON. The latter, hustled throughout, gave way to the winner, but held oh gamely to dead heat "with SIGN UP. LITTLE HIG lacked early speed. MAGNOLIA CASH had nothing left for the drive. OXFORD LAD was used up in the early stages. The others were outrun.
