DOMONIC B. caught LYNETTE O. after going a quarter to draw into a good lead nearing the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth and barely lasted to hold WARALII. The latter was outrun to the stretch, then came very fast in the middle of the track and would have won in a few more strides. SERGT. HLAVIN raced very wide all the way. FLOSSMOOR tired near the end. MERCED raced fairly well! APACE had no excuses and raced poorly. SAXN SNARE, HOOKEY, TIMELY LADY and CLEOS LAST were off poorly. FAN MAIL, off well, headed the field on the stretch turn to take a good lead, but was doing her best at the end to hold QUICK CLOUD. The latter lacked early speed, but came fast in the stretch and was gaining on the winner. KING BARTON moved up strongly on the outside rounding the stretch turn and raced well to the end. COPA DE ORO began slowly and, badly outrun to the stretch, did not get going until too late. PANSYS SECOND dropped out of it after meeting with some interference. THE MARKER had early speed. BUBBLING BOY raced to the front at once and, after holding BLUE BREEZE for the first half mile, drew away from the latter gradually and won easily. BLUE BREEZE had her speed and saved ground throughout, but was not good enough for the winner. AMPLE LADY was badly outrun for half the distance, then came very fast and closed with a rush. STAR STEPPER was always well up and showed a good effort. HOMME ROUGE had a rough trip and turned in a good effort. HEELPLATES tired after going a half mile. LIBERTYS LOVE was outrun early. The latter, never far back and under a mild drive for a half mile, improved his position when urged and challenged boldly, but was not good enough. BELS BEAU, hustled to the load early, continued gamely under occasional pressure and gave way when challenged, but held on with good courage to finish third. FULL TILT, on the inside throughout and slightly restrained, took command when urged, but tired badly in the stretch. DIDUTELLUS was outrun and failed to respond to strong riding. SUSPENSION, in close quarters while racing on the inside during the back stretch run, came to the outside when clear to dash to the front rounding the stretch turn and was never in serious danger thereafter. TORQUIL, in close quarters rounding the first turn, continued on the inside to get through an opening on the far turn and took command, but was not good enough to resist the winner. DIGNIFIED finished fast and gamelv. GAMELON finished fairlv well. PLUCKY JACK raced in four bandages and tired. ROSE CRYSTAL also tired. BONIFIER made a run nearing the far turn, then tired. PLUCKY JACK pulled up sore. THE DARB was pulled up in the stretch when his rider seemingly believed he had gone lame. Overweight Suspension, 1 pound. SIXTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES.
